Road Diary 20/05/23 - Comox, BC

To be amongst those chosen as family in a time of great significance. To be in the presence of friends who have opened up their homes. To bask in heat and sunshine by the ocean in a time of ease and plenty. To be forgiven for poor time management. To sit in front of a hearth and cast dice through our stories. To grin wide eyed through tears of joy. To watch you rinse blood off your shins after falling. To pay our gratitude in whispered prayers and spill our magic in kilometres underfoot. To drink from the tall-can of summer and eat dandelion salad on the back porch. To watch smoke curl from your fingers to a patter of rain. To breathe flowers every morning. To let the love unfurl. To meditate with the perched eagle. To come and go as pleased. To be seen so clearly by so many. To be held accountable. To be held.
